Abstract

HIV dan AIDS menjadi masalah disetiap negara sehingga perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius. Dukungan keluarga pada ODHA sangat kurang menambah buruk situasi yang dialami penderita. HIV dan AIDS masih dianggap sebagai sosok menyeramkan, karena saat divonis sebagai ODHA yang terbayang adalah kematian. Oleh sebab itu, kualitas hidup penderita menjadi masalah dalam kehidupan mereka. Padahal, ODHA yang memiliki kualitas hidup tinggi dan coping yang efektif dalam menghadapi tekanan-tekanan yang dialami, sehingga kondisi ini dapat membantu ODHA untuk tetap menjaga kesehatannya. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan kualitas hidup ODHA. Penelitian ini merupakan penilitian kuatitatif dengan desain cross sectional pada 30 responden di poliklinik VCT RSUD Kabupaten Sorong.
