Abstract

Mice are the most commonly used animals in allergic rhinitis research. There is no standard method for modelling allergic rhinitis in mice. Ovalbumin is the most commonly used allergen in modelling allergic rhinitis in mice. The aim of this study was to determine the appropriate method for modeling allergic rhinitis in mice using ovalbumin allergen. The study used 12 mice (Mus musculus) which were grouped into control group and allergic rhinitis group containing 6 mice in a group.
