Abstract

Corona virus (SARS-CoV-2)  merupakan virus jenis baru yang menggemparkan dunia. Diketahui, asal mula virus ini berasal dari Wuhan, Tiongkok. Ditemukan pada akhir Desember tahun 2019.  (PDPI, 2020). Pada awalnya data epidemiologi menunjukkan 66% pasien berkaitan atau terpajan dengan satu pasar seafood atau live market di Wuhan, Provinsi Hubei Tiongkok. Upaya pencegahan pemutusan penyebaran covid-19 ini terus diupayakan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan, Namun masih banyak masyarakata yang abai dalam penyebaran virus covid-19 ini, maka dari latar belakang diatas diadakan sosialisasi pentingnya gerakan 3M : Memakai masker, Mencuci tangan dan Menjaga jarak. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan protokol covid 3M. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah diharapkan masyarakat memiliki kesadaran untuk berperilaku sesuai dengan protokol covid-19.
