Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of mortality among women, largely due to the low coverage of early detection services. In the service area of Tanjung Karang Primary Health Center, the coverage of Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) screening has not yet reached the expected target, primarily because of the limited knowledge and awareness among women of reproductive age (WRA) regarding the importance of cervical cancer screening. This community service program aimed to improve WRA's knowledge of early cervical cancer detection through health education and the implementation of the SI-IPAH approach (VIA Screening, Pap Smear, and HPV DNA Testing). The program was conducted in February 2026 in the service area of Tanjung Karang Primary Health Center, Mataram City, involving 28 women of reproductive age in the educational activities and 20 eligible participants for cervical cancer screening. The intervention included health education sessions, leaflet distribution, educational video presentations, interactive discussions, pretest–posttest knowledge assessments, and cervical cancer screening using VIA, Pap smear, and HPV DNA testing. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge, with the proportion of women in the good knowledge category increasing from 25% to 75%, while the poor knowledge category decreased from 25% to 0%. Among the 20 participants eligible for screening, 17 successfully completed the examinations. The screening results identified one VIA-positive case, 16 VIA-negative cases, and all 17 participants tested negative for HPV DNA. Three participants postponed screening because they were menstruating. The SI-IPAH program effectively enhanced the knowledge and awareness of women of reproductive age while expanding access to early cervical cancer detection services. This initiative has the potential to serve as a sustainable promotive and preventive model that can be integrated into primary healthcare services to improve cervical cancer screening coverage.
